Miss E. A. Brooks by CounterCanterPhotos Miss E. A. Brooks by CounterCanterPhotos
Edith Alice Brooks will glare at you if you call her Edith. She thinks it sounds so old-fashioned and would much rather you call her Edie. She and Thomas have been a couple since they were fifteen. She is rather more appearance-conscious than her best friend, Sally, and would rather like to be a higher social class than she is, but wouldn't trade her loving sweetheart and closest friends for anything.

Her hair wouldn't cooperate so I gave her a hat.

Haha, I'm a big fan of that approach. Somewhere I have a picture of a horse I drew whose legs ended up so terrible that I placed a really badly drawn boulder in front of it so as to disguise my ineptness, only for the pen I drew the horse in to show through! :iconfacepalmplz:

Heh, it was only after a moment of angry scribbling!
That's so frustrating!  I know I've got hundreds of pictures of horses in chest-high grass with lifted tails because I couldn't draw legs but lovey drawing tails XD
