Birds singing in the sycamore tree

Dream a little dream of me.


I'm quite proud of this one! Trees and skies are so much fun to draw when they don't need much detail, and figures are definitely easier to draw in silhouette! This features Thomas and Edie, having a little romantic moment in the sunset under the tree near Thomas' house. Theirs is a romantic attachment of five years (by 1915), but they started as friends after Edie fell off her bike. Thomas happened to be there, and although she wasn't keen for his help (she was embarrassed at having fallen off), they became firm friends, which grew into love within a year.

I might update this when I have the motivation, time (so much schoolwork!) and I've rebooted my computer to hopefully make my tablet pen work again, as Thomas' head is really annoying me.
